We've been Farming for 12 years so far and the idea to start an "Agriturismo" in the true sense of its original meaning: " an accomodation within the farming family with whom share local food and common spaces and activities....and life", has always been at the top of my head. This is the phylosophy that goes beyond this beautiful 17th century farm: we give our customers comfortable accomodation and delicious highest quality food mostly produced in our farm or by farmers in the neighbourhood but above all this, our aim is to involve the visitors (if they want to) in our daily chores as we think that culture, tradition and thus knowledgment pass through the people that really live on the land and we firmly believe (being travellers ourselves) that if you really want to have an unique experience of the places you visit you have to break down the barriers and get in touch with the people.
We have lot to offer and lot to receive and we are so fortunate to live in an area of incredible beauty and culture where in a 15 minutes drive you can reach down the worldwide famous and fashionable Lago di Como or climb up on Monte Generoso and stare down at Milan and the River Po valley in an alpine environment. There is a lot to do and watch and eat and drink and understand about the area we live in and we're keen to share it with you..... or you can simply lay down in a green meadow and relax in the silence...
English spoken, the farm can be reached only by 4x4 or on foot by a 300m long steep road but we have a transfer service...
L'azienda agricola esiste da 12 anni e abbiamo sempre avuto in mente di realizzare un agriturismo che si attenesse al vero significato originario della parola: "un luogo nel quale la famiglia agricola da' ospitalità, cibo e coinvolge nelle sue attività e nella sua vita i visitatori". Questo racchiude la nostra filosofia e in questa struttura contadina restaurata nel 2004 da ERSAF (Ente Regionale Servizi Agro-Forestali) Lombardia, diamo ospitalità e forniamo cibi locali prodotti da noi o da aziende dell'immediato circondario caratterizzati dall'alta qualità ma soprattutto accogliamo i visitatori coinvolgendoli (se vogliono) nei nostri lavori quotidiani poichè riteniamo che cultura, tradizioni e quindi conoscenza passino innanzitutto da chi vive realmente la realtà del territorio e crediamo intensamente (essendo noi stessi viaggiatori) che se realmente volete avere una esperienza unica e coinvolgente dobbiate abbattere le barriere e entrare in contatto con le persone.
Abbiamo molto da offrire e da ricevere e siamo così fortunati da vivere in un'area di incomparabile bellezza e cultura dove in 15 minuti d'auto si può raggiungere il modaiolo e bellissimo Lago di Como col suo clima mediterraneo o salire sul Monte Generoso dal quale si domina con la vista Milano e la pianura padana. C'è molto da fare, da osservare, da mangiare e bere e capire riguardo a questi luoghi e noi saremo entusiasti di condividerlo con voi..... oppure potete semplicemente sdraiarvi in un prato e contemplare rilassandovi.
L'alpe è raggiungibile solo in 4x4 o a piedi dopo una strada di circa 300 m piuttosto impervia ma cementata. Offriamo un servizio navetta per coloro che non se la sentissero di camminare...
